PSG and Reims are two clubs on the extreme ends and have had massively contrasting seasons. They will go head-to-head for the last remaining domestic piece of silverware when they meet in the French Cup final. As PSG stays in the hunt for a treble, this could be a career-defining match for most of the Reims’ players. Below is our prediction for this encounter to be hosted at the Stade de France.
PSG are on course for an unprecedented treble. The league is wrapped, and they still have to face Inter Milan in the Champions League final. Such is the contrast in the seasons these two teams have had.
While PSG have hit all highs, Brest are still unsure of their Ligue status, yet here they play a final that could see them enter European competitions next season. For now, Reims will want to put any league worries behind them and focus on this finale.

PSG - Reims: Form Analysis
If there is an area PSG will find fault in their domestic season, it has to be the failure to finish the league unbeaten. Les Parisiens have been near perfect in France. They managed to wrap up their Ligue 1 season on a high, beating Montpellier and Auxerre.
The earlier three matches had ended in a draw and two defeats, but it was just a matter of time before things changed. Luis Enrique’s charges come into this game as clear favorites.
The only concern for the Spanish manager will be his team’s limited returns in terms of clean sheets. However, the French giants are more likely to outscore their opponents more often than not.
Reims have won the French Cup twice, PSG 15 times.
Reims will be more pressured going into this game. A poor run in Ligue 1 sent them to the relegation/promotion playoffs. They’ve already started that, with a 1-1 draw at Metz. Reims will host the return leg after this finale.

Luis Enrique has lately been naming strong teams for matches that mattered less. In that same breath, we think he will name a strong team here too. If so, Ousmane Dembele will be a starter.

Keito Nakamura has been the hottest property at PSG this season. He has 12 goals to his name, and two of those were against PSG. He is back in the team after suspension and played a part in Reims’ last game.
