Both of these teams are in great form at present and are on the fringes of the play-offs. Blackburn Rovers are tenth in the Championship only behind their opponents on goal difference. For most of the season they have been placed between 12th and 15th but recent weeks have worked out well for them. December was a tough month for them with a frightening fixture list seeing consecutive games against three of the top four in the league losing all of them. Next up they faced the other side in the top four but beat West Brom 2-1. Two more wins have pushed them back up the table and with a chance of making it into the play-offs. Home form is good with only one loss in the last eight.

Hull City are on an incredible run at the moment after a terrible start to the season. They have spent most of it in the relegation zone but have risen from 23rd to 8th in 10 games. Their 2-2 draw at Aston Villa ended a run of six wins in a row. Their last ten league games have seen them earn 24 points and over that period they are the top side in the Championship. Only six points separate them and the play-offs and the improvement in their away form has been staggering. Hull lost five in a row scoring just once but since then have four wins and two draws scoring at least twice in their last six. The tip here is to go for a double chance on Hull City to win or draw this game.
