Nottingham Forest will host Newcastle United in an all-Premier League sides’ encounter in the League Cup second round on Wednesday. As the two sides look to extend on positive starts to the season, here’s our preview and prediction of the match.
The hosts are coming from a 1-0 win against Southampton, building on their opening 1-1 draw with Bournemouth. The last time the two teams met in this competition, it was at this same venue in 2018.
