McCartney Kessler vs Dayana Yastremska Prediction & Betting Tips - WTA Nottingham Open

Just as in Berlin, it’s two unseeded players who will contest the final of the Nottingham Open. This grass court title decider sees Dayana Yastremska take on McCartney Kessler. Here’s our match prediction.

This is the second WTA Tour final of the year for Yastremska despite saying she may have an allergy to grass. The other was in the Linz indoor hard court tournament. Now the 25-year-old is playing in her first grass court final and is up to 44th in the live rankings.

Four matches have had to be won to reach this final and Yastremska has only lost one set. Two seeds have been beaten by her this week. Fifth-seeded Leylah Annie Fernandez was beaten in the last eight and then the sixth seed Magda Linette in Saturday’s semi-final.

McCartney Kessler has had an excellent week in Nottingham. Round one saw the American beat the top seed Beatriz Haddad Maia. That good form has continued and Friday saw her knockout the defending champion Katie Boulter in the last eight.

There was no stopping Kessler in Saturday’s semi-final as she beat Rebecca Sramkova in straight sets. This run to her first grass court final (her third on all surfaces in 2025) has taken Kessler up to a career-high 38th in the live rankings.
