Leeds United return to Championship action this weekend when they welcome Bristol City to Elland Road. Chasing promotion in the closing stages of the season, Leeds are not making the experience easy for their fans. Liks last season, they started this campaign in confident and clinical fashion, opening up a wide gap between them and their automatic promotion rivals. Things fell apart last season and a play-off defeat spoiled their season. History is threatening to repeat itself for Leeds. At the time of writing, they remain second in the table but it's only a matter of time before their poor results see them slip further down. A Kiko Casilla howler in the 1-1 draw with Brentford typified the self-induced misfortune that has plagued Marcelo Bielsa's side for weeks. Only two wins from their last 11 Championship matches shows how low confidence is in the Leeds camp now. Bolstering belief is a top priority.
Bristol, six points behind Leeds with a game in hand, are in seventh place. One of the tidiest teams in the second tier (top of that division in terms of WhoScored ratings), Bristol are an interesting bet to make the playoffs this season. Coached by the promising Lee Johnson, they missed out on the playoffs last season despite spending much of the season inside the top six. Constantly improving, they put a late-2019 slump behind them with five wins from seven matches prior to their Derby clash. Although their record against Leeds is poor - they have failed to win any of their previous six encounters - the slump that Leeds are in suggests that this is the opportune moment for Bristol to take points away from Elland Road. Back Bristol double chance.

Our Leeds vs Bristol City Prediction
Having struggled against Leeds in the past, a trip to Elland Road may be daunting for Bristol. However, their good form on the road combined with Leeds choking under pressure could result in the end of that bogey run. There certainly isn't any value in backing the home side on their current path to self-destruction. Stick a double chance bet on Bristol.
