The Winston-Salem Open quarterfinal will see Hamad Medjedovic trade tackles with  Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. The Serbian No. 3, ranked 65th in the world, will aim to edge out 39th-ranked Perricard for a place in the semi-finals. Follow our prediction for the match below.

Hamad Medjedovic edged out World No. 59 Jacob Fearnley in straight sets, winning 6-4, 7-6(7-2) to kick off his Winston-Salem Open campaign on an impressive note. He recorded another dominant performance in the round of 16, smashing World No. 33 Gabriel Diallo in another straight sets. 

This result saw the Serbian star rack up his third consecutive victory, all in straight sets. He has also won five of his last six matches on hard courts in straight-sets and will be looking to maintain this impressive momentum versus Perricard.

Perricard defeated World No. 64 Pedro Martinez 2-1 in round 32 and 38th-ranked Alexandre Muller 2-0 in the round of 16. However, he has struggled for results lately, losing six of his last nine matches. He has also lost five of his last eight matches on hard courts and will face a difficult task taking on in-form Medjedovic.
