Singapore Grand Prix Predictions & Betting tips - Formule 1

Formula 1 arrives at the iconic Marina Bay Street Circuit for the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend. Oscar Piastri leads the F1 driver standings with 324 points, followed by his teammate Lando Norris on 299 points, and Max Verstappen rounds out the top three with 255 points. Let’s get into the race prediction!

Last week in Baku was significant in the Formula 1 season, as we saw Oscar Piastri crash out on the opening lap and Max Verstappen surge to his first victory in Azerbaijan. 

Piastri was a tad lucky as his teammate only managed six points, but Verstappen is pulled into the rearview mirror and is now 44 points behind the current leader. 

Heading into the Singapore Grand Prix, Piastri will have to work to extend his lead, having only managed P3 during qualifying, while Norris was only good for fifth. 

Surging to pole at the Marina Bay Street Circuit was Mercedes’ George Russell, who finished with a time of 1:29.158, 0.182 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull. 

It was Russell’s first pole since the Canadian Grand Prix back in June, and the first for Mercedes in Singapore since Lewis Hamilton’s incredible performance here in 2018. 

Russell’s teammate Kimi Antonelli also produced an impressive performance to clinch P4, while the Ferrari duo of Hamilton and Charles Leclerc clinched sixth and seventh, respectively. 

Rounding out the top half of the grid for the Singapore Grand Prix are Isaak Hadjar (P8), Oliver Bearman (P9), and Fernando Alonso (P10).
