There's a clash of two strong Eastern European teams this week as Dinamo Minsk of Belarus hosts Bulgarian side Ludogorets in a Champions League First Qualifying Round second leg. FC Dinamo have won the Belarusian Premier League the past two seasons, but The Eagles have been Champions of Bulgaria 14 consecutive times, every year since 2011/12! What will our prediction be for this key second-leg match?

A tight first leg saw Ludogorets gain the upper hand when the teams met at the Huvepharma Arena in Razgrad. A late Filip Kaloc goal was enough to hand the Bulgarians a slender advantage heading into the second leg this week in Minsk's Dinamo Stadium. Both teams were not in action over the weekend, meaning that this was the last match both teams played.

Before the defeat in Bulgaria, Minsk had been in good form at home, defeating Dinamo Brest 5-0 in late June. But they preceded the loss to Ludogorets with a 2-0 defeat to Maxline in the game before that. Minsk have won nine of their last ten games at home heading into this second leg.

The bookmakers make Ludogorets the clear favourites to win this second leg tie, but their recent form doesn't support that confidence. Heading into the game with Minsk, the Eagles had not won in four games, drawing two and losing two. They drew 0-0 at home to Copenhagen in a friendly, then lost 2-0 to Hradec Králové in another friendly before the first leg of this tie.
