Wolfsburg are looking to secure a top four place and will be hoping to strengthen that push when they play host to champions Bayern Munich on Sunday. Third placed Wolfsburg have 54 points, while league leaders Bayern Munich have 65 points. Wolfsburg stumbled in their last game, losing 4-3 to fellow top four contenders Eintracht Frankfurt and will be keen to avoid a second straight loss. The loss to Frankfurt was rather unusual, as Wolfsburg aren’t known to conceded that much; in the last 12 league matches, they’ve conceded more than two goals in just two matches. The hosts are actually decent in defence, with seven clean sheets in the last 10 league matches. Going to this game they’ll miss Max Arnold in midfield but Brazilian Paulo Otavio returns from suspension. Much focus will still be on Dutchman Wout Weghorst who has scored four times in the last five matches and has 18 in the league so far. At home, Wolfsburg are unbeaten in 16 matches across all competitions and head here with three straight wins and six straight clean sheets.
