Watford had a pretty bad festive season with just one point from three league games and seven goals conceded. That's left them in 14th place and only seven points above the bottom three. Not a crisis yet but a few more losses and it soon will be. Opponents Middlesbrough are two places below them but will climb above Watford with a win here. Watford have lost four of their last five league games and scored just two goals in those matches and have only 23 all season in the Premier League. Middlesbrough don't score that many either with just 17 in 20 games, joint lowest scorers with bottom of the table Hull. They have only conceded 22 goals though and only three teams in the table have conceded less. They have just eight points away from home this season scoring just eight goals. With neither side in great form, a bet on under 2.5 goals looks a good one to be on here.
