Opening day defeats have left Turkey and Italy bottom of Group A1, and they’ll be targeting three points in their Monday meetup. Both playing at home in Round 1, Turkey lost to France and Italy to Belgium. Being winless in 11 matches against Italy, our prediction tips hosts Turkey for another defeat.
In nine of their 13 meetings with Italy, Turkey suffered defeat, and that includes Italy’s latest visit to Turkey in 2022. The hosts will wish to rise here after a 1-0 loss to France, but a run of three defeats in four matches doesn’t really reflect well on them.
