Stoke vs Plymouth Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Just three games are remaining in the Championship season with neither of these teams safe yet as Stoke hosts Plymouth at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Stoke has only won two of their last 15 on home soil which has contributed to the struggle that they are going through. Both of those wins are in their last six against QPR and Middlesbrough, picking up a point against Huddersfield and West Brom. They fell behind in each of those draws, something that has happened all too often of late. At present, they are a point behind Plymouth and only three above the relegation zone with the worst disciplinary record in the division with 100 yellow cards, the only team in triple figures. 

Adam Randall scored in injury time to give Plymouth the points in the reverse fixture in early December. They arrive off the back of a 1-0 home win over Leicester, which has eased their relegation fears a little bit. In their last seven away games, they have picked up three wins. That is a much-improved record given that they failed to pick up an away win in their first 14 this season. A win would almost secure their status in the Championship for a second consecutive year, which, although is not a huge success, is at least something for them to build on. Morgan Whittaker is one goal away from 20 on the season, the third-highest scorer in the league. Their recent improvement in away form has come from finding the net first which has given them a strong foothold.
