Sheffield Wednesday face Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night in the Championship with both sides very much embroiled in the battle against relegation. The Owls had been enduring a miserable season, especially away from home where they have scored just 10 goals all season on the road. But Danny Rohl has led his team back from the brink with a run of four wins in their last five games. That has seen them cut the gap to safety to just four points and a win against Plymouth would move them to just two points behind Argyle in the table. The Owls have certainly tightened up defensively of late, conceding just three goals in their last five games in the Championship, scoring seven in the process. After this they face two very tough games against Leeds and Ipswich Town (3rd and 2nd in the Championship table), so a win will be vital for them here.

Ian Foster's Plymouth have had a strange few weeks. For the vast majority of the season, Argyle have been superb at home, and awful on the road. But that form has switched around somewhat in the last month or so. Away from home, they have picked up seven points from the last 12 available, but they have picked up just one point from the last 12 available at home. With the teams below them in the league starting to pick up points, the Green Army are being dragged back into the relegation equation at the foot of the table and a defeat here would leave them just two points ahead of Wednesday with 12 games of the season remaining. This is a hugely important game for both teams.
