Norwich’s stuttering season could hit another bumpy road as they host Preston North End in a matchday 32 meeting in the EFL Championship. This match at Carrow Road on Tuesday between the 8th-placed Canaries and the 15th-placed Invincibles comes with our prediction of a draw or an away win.

Norwich has 43 and is only two points behind the top six teams. Preston has 37 points from 30 matches and is stuck in the midtable. The Canaries were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Derby, with the visitors netting a 92nd-minute penalty to snatch a point.

That result meant the Canaries have just two wins from their last six matches in all competitions. That said, two wins and a draw in the Championship is a sign that things are moving in the right direction.

Preston needed penalties to defeat Wycombe in the FA Cup fourth round over the weekend for their third win in four competitive matches. In the league, the invincible has two wins and draws each in their last five matches.

That defeat came in their most recent match at Blackburn, losing 2-1. Worryingly, that is their third defeat in their last five away league matches, winning just once.
