Millwall will return home to a match against Stoke City in the Championship this weekend. The two sides sit in the bottom half of the league table, Millwall in 13th and Stoke City are 19th. Read on for our prediction of the match.

For a side that had top six ambitions, the past few matches haven't unfolded well for Millwall. They are coming from a 2-0 loss at Leeds United.

That left them with just a win in four matches though one of the defeats was in the FA Cup. Two wins only in the last seven league matches have left Millwall eight points adrift of the top six.

Home form isn’t really encouraging either, with just two wins in 10 in the Championship.

Stoke City have managed back-to-back wins in the league only once this season. Here they have an opportunity to make it two. They are coming straight off a 1-0 win at home to Blackburn.

Ali Al Hamadi’s second league goal this season handed the Potters their ninth win of the campaign. That win broke a winless run of four matches, which included three defeats.

It was also a big improvement in defence, having conceded 10 times in the earlier four matches. Stoke City are now four points above the drop zone and will seek to widen that gap.
