Derby County haven’t had the strongest of starts to life in the third tier. They did open their season with a win, beating Oxford United 1-0 but in their second game they suffered a 1-0 loss to Charlton Athletic. They head to this game on a very shaky run, and a poor finish in the preseason engagements. In the last five matches they have one win, and lost each of the other four. Derby County have one clean sheet in their last five matches and twice in that run, they conceded two or more goals.
