Lille finished 2024 as one of the best performing teams in Europe. They start 2025 off the back of a 17-match unbeaten run, hosting Nantes. Here we have the prediction as Les Dogues welcome Les Canaris on Saturday.

Lille are on the cusp of matching the club’s longest undefeated record that has stood for 40 years. With two more wins they’ll hit that milestone.

A 1-0 win over Rouen in the French Cup marked Lille’s fine ending to 2024. After their Christmas break it is back to business, aiming for win number eight in Ligue 1.

With a game in hand, a win here and favorable results elsewhere could lift them into the top three.
