Francisco Cerundolo vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - Lyon, France

The last four of the Lyon Open sees defending champion Cameron Norrie take on fourth seeded Francisco Cerundolo. Norrie is the second seed and is bidding to win his second clay court title of the year. The other was on clay in Rio where he beat Carlos Alcaraz. The world number 14 had previously lost to the Spaniard in the Buenos Aires final. Another meeting could be on the horizon as the pair are in the same part of the draw at Roland Garros. This is Norrie's first time past the last 16 in the European clay court season. He's had wins over David Goffin and then sixth seeded Sebastian Baez in the last eight. He dropped the middle set in that match but won the final one for the loss of just one game.

Francisco Cerundolo began this week ranked 28th. He remains in that position in the live rankings but can move up to 26th with a win here. He's played a great deal on clay this year. Like his opponent, he played on the South American tour with two quarter finals reached. He's had success in Europe too with some big wins over Casper Ruud and Jannik Sinner. The Argentinian also beat Norrie in Monte Carlo. He'll be out for revenge on the Brit as Norrie beat him in the last 16 of this tournament last year. He also beat a British player in the last eight, coming from behind to get past Jack Draper. This looks like being a close match and we see Cerundolo getting the win.
