Manchester United are up to fifth in the Premier League and in the last sixteen of the Europa League. A Champions League place could still be achieved but they have a tricky game here away at 11th placed Everton. United had a comfortable win over Club Brugge on Thursday and were given a good draw against LASK Linz in the next round. They have won their last two league games and haven't conceded in three. United are only three points adrift of fourth place but still need to improve their away league form. United have only won four away league games this season and the last five played have produced two wins and three defeats. They will have memories of the bad result they had at Goodison Park last season and were held to a draw by Everton at home, earlier in the season.

That draw took place when Duncan Ferguson was in temporary charge of Everton. Carlo Ancelotti is their new boss now and he has led them away from the relegation zone.  A form guide for the last ten league matches has them in fourth position earning two points more than their opponents in that period. Last week saw them lose 3-2 at Arsenal despite taking the lead in the first minute. The defeat ended a run of five league matches without defeat. Home form has seen Everton unbeaten in their last six Premier League fixtures with three clean sheets. A bet on under 2.5 goals is the prediction for this game.
