Everton returned to form last Sunday with a 3-2 win at struggling Fulham. They are now sixth in the Premier League and host Leeds United who are 14th and five points below them. Former leaders Everton had lost three straight league games before that win at Fulham. They take on Leeds, looking to end a run of two home league matches without a win. Only one point was earned in matches against Liverpool and Manchester United. Goals look extremely likely in this match. Both teams have gotten onto the scoresheet in the last eight Everton league games at Goodison Park. Everton themselves, have only failed to score in one of their last 14 home league fixtures. With Calvert-Lewin scoring twice last week, hopefully that’ll kick start his season. They just need Jamie Rodriguez to regain his early-season form.

Leeds United are only 14th but they are seven points above the relegation zone. They come into this game with no wins in their last three Premier League matches. Their most recent game saw them draw 0-0 at home to Arsenal. The nine league games played by Leeds this season have produced 31 goals, with over 2.5 goals in three of the last four. The clean sheet against the Gunners was a welcome one but they’ve still conceded 17 goals. On the road, two have been won and two lost since their return to the Premier League. The two games they lost both saw four goals conceded. Leicester put four past them at Elland Road and Fulham, three. If Everton’s strikers can follow on where they left off last week, a home win can be achieved to keep them in the top six.
