The two sides have strengthened ahead of this game, with defender James Tarkowski coming from Burnley the highlight signing for Everton while Raheem Sterling from Manchester City has been the top mover for Chelsea. Everton won their final two preseason games, and Chelsea beat Udinese to wrap up their preseason activity. With four straight home wins in the league against Chelsea, the hosts will be fired up for this but then they will be without Richarlison, the man who has scored three times in those four matches. The Brazilian has moved to Tottenham Hotspur.
