A few weeks ago it looked impossible for Crystal Palace to avoid relegation. The arrival of Roy Hodgson has revitalized Palace and a point at West Brom last weekend took them up to 18th place in the table and only three points from safety. They are on an unbeaten run of four league games with one win and three draws. They have even gone two games without conceding which is a change from when they were shipping goals left, right and centre. They have scored two goals in each of their last four home league games but are still waiting for Christian Benteke to score his first goal since returning from injury. Bournemouth are 14th in the table but only five points ahead of their opponents in this game. They have gone three league games without a win and could do with getting something from this game. Their next three fixtures are against Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City so a slide down the table looks likely. Bournemouth have only won two of their last eight league games with just four goals scored. Palace have finally found form, particularly at home and can get three valuable points here.
