Chelsea welcome Watford to Stamford Bridge for the big Saturday evening kick-off in the Premier League this weekend. They are fourth in the table and host a Watford side down to 17th in the table. They slipped a place due to the fact Chelsea lost at West Ham on Wednesday evening. Chelsea remain a point behind third-placed Leicester City but have to keep an eye on Manchester United (fifth) and Wolves (sixth), both two points off their tail.  Chelsea  had won all their post-lockdown games before losing 3-2 at West Ham, after leading 1-0 in the first half..  Christian Pulisic has played a starring role in this success scoring in the two Premier League wins, one of which was against Manchester City. The American attacker is now Chelsea's second-highest scorer in the Premier League with seven, a respectable tally for his full debut season in England.

Watford are 17th in the table and the danger of relegation is very real going into the final rounds of the campaign. They are only one point clear of the two teams directly below them, Bournemouth, and Aston Villa. Watford have struggled since the restart, failing to win any of their last three matches. It means that they have not won in four games and scored only twice in that period The boost that Watford received from the appointment of Nigel Pearson appears to have faded over the break. The Hornets have struggled to take control of games with their powerful midfield and have been particularly poor on the road. They haven't won any of their last five away games and have only managed to win two of their 16 away matches this season. Their record against Chelsea is awful in recent years, with five defeats in their last six meetings with the Blues. We see more misery following against a team that have won their last three matches at Stamford Bridge. Back the improving Pulisic to score anytime.
