An entertaining clash lies ahead for the English League Cup, with Cardiff hosting Portsmouth. After stunning Norwich in the first round, the Welsh side suffered a reality check last time out, losing away to Reading. That loss also put an end to Cardiff’s impressive unbeaten streak, being their first after eight games without defeat. The Bluebirds are coming into this fixture in strong home form as well, winning three and drawing one of their last four games at the Cardiff City Stadium.
