Burnley vs Manchester City Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Manchester City suffered another blow on Saturday when being held to a 2-2 draw by Newastle United leaving them in second, 11 points behind Liverpool. They can't afford to drop points when visiting Burnley who are eighth in the table. City looked as if they were going to get three valuable points at Newcastle but conceded an equalizer three minutes from time. They twice led in the game but two more points were dropped and they now have just one win in their last five league and cup games. It's only one loss in the last six Premier League games and on the road, City have won four times but lost twice. Their defence isn't what it used to be though and with 16 goals conceded already, that is an area Guardiola has to produce improvement in.

Burnley also had an unsatisfactory weekend as they saw a run of two league wins in a row ended. They went down 2-0 at home to Crystal Palace and that was their third league loss of the season at Turf Moor. At the time of writing this preview, Burnley are only two points off fifth place but just six above the relegation zone. With this game being followed by a trip to resurgent Tottenham, Burnley might just be embarking on a trip down the table. They have won four home league games this season but those victories were against Southampton, Norwich,City, Everton and West Ham, none of whom were in good form at the time. The three losses have been inflicted by Liverpool, Chelsea and Crystal Palace. City dare not drop points in this game and can be backed to get the win.
