Brighton vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Seven points above the bottom three with five games to go looks a good position for Brighton and Hove Albion and one they'd have gladly taken back in August. They look safe but Brighton have a nightmare run-in with home games against Tottenham and Manchester United and visits to Burnley, Manchester City and Liverpool. Those are five games they could easily lose so any points they get between now and the end of the season will be a bonus as they hope none of the sides in the bottom three launch a major recovery. Brighton lost 3-2 at Crystal Palace at the weekend and need to defend a lot better if they are to get anything out of this game.  They have just one point from their last four league matches and owe their position in the table to the run of 11 points from five games that they had in February and March.  Brighton have ten points from their last five home league games but struggle in games against the top five with one point from six games with one goal scored and 16 goals conceded.

Tottenham lost to champions elect Manchester City on Saturday but face much weaker opposition in this game. They are fourth in the table and chasing Liverpool for a top three finish and look safe for a top four place with a seven point lead over Chelsea. The loss to Manchester City ended a run of six straight league wins and on their travels, Spurs are unbeaten in their last eight league matches. They score regularly and although Brighton will put up a fight, Tottenham should win the midfield battle and can get a win here.
