Bochum will welcome Wolfsburg on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga. The two teams sit six points apart in the standings after 12 rounds with Wolfsburg in eighth having the advantage over 14th-placed Bochum. Bochum have struggled to win matches and have managed only one win thus far. They however have proved to be a difficult team to break down and have drawn a league-leading seven games. Failure to win again could see the Blues pulled down into the relegation zone. Thomas Letsch’s charges have amassed 10 points and are just two points above the drop zone. Bochum haven’t lost in their last four games and drew 0-0 with Heidenheim last time out.

Wolfsburg have fared much better than Bochum in terms of winning games but they too are struggling with inconsistency. Niko Kovac’s men have won five games but have also lost six times. They ended a five-game league run without a win last time out by defeating RB Leipzig 2-1 at home. That win kept them four points adrift of the European places and they will be eager to close the gap here. Wolfsburg earned all six points from Bochum last season and scored a combined nine goals from both games. They were 5-1 winners here back in April and will arrive confident of another convincing victory.
