Yannick Hanfmann vs Juan Manuel Cerundolo Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Winston-Salem Open

Tenth seed Yannick Hanfmann and Juan Martin Cerendolo battle it out for a place in the Winston Salem Open. Up next for the winner could be eighth seeded Botic van de Zandschlup. Hanfmann is ranked 54th, nine places lower than her career high achieved in July of this year. The German has only won one of his last four matches and that was over the brother of his opponent in this match. This is only his second hard court touurnament since March when losing in the first qualifying round of the Miami Masters. Since then he's spent most of his time playing clay court events with a semi-final and quarter final reached. Little time has been spent on hard courts this year as he played on the South American clay court tour. 

Juan Martin Cerundolo is also a player who prefers clay to hard courts. He's the world 100 but up a place in the live rankings. The Argentinian has a career high of 79th and that was attained last year. Cerundolo had only won three out of 12 ATP Tour main draws matches this year before this tournament. He began this year by winning two consecutive Challenger Tour tournaments but both were on his preferred clay. This is his first hard court tournament of the year and the first round saw him have to go to three sets to beat Roman Safiullin. There's been one previous meeting with Hanfmann and that saw the German win in February 2023 but tha was on clay. We go for Hanfmann to get the win here in straight sets.
