They are now down to fourth in the table and host Rukh Brest who are eighth but only three points behind their opponents. Slutsk are three points behind leaders BATE Borisov after the weekend fixtures. They could be further behind by the coming weekend as the top two in the league both have midweek fixtures. Slutsk have lost their last two league games, the most recent being their 3-0 weekend loss at BATE. That game continued their run of conceding in every league game this season. They will want to get back into winning ways this weekend but home form is a bit shaky. Two wins have been achieved but two lost as well with seven goals conceded.

Rukh Brest will go ahead of their oppoments if winning this game. The newly-promoted side have made a confident start to the new season with only two losses in nine games. Only three have been won but two of those have come on their travels with wins at Dnamo Minsk and Neman Grodno, who have lost nine league games between them this season.
