Last season Rangers had to go through the qualifying rounds to reach the group stages of the Europa League. They have done just the same this time around and look a good bet to win this tie. They won away in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend to maintain their 100% record after three games. In the Europa League, Rangers are unbeaten in their last 14 matches (of which only four were friendlies) and in the Europa League have played seven unbeaten games this season. Only one goal has been conceded in those seven matches. They will have to be careful here though as an away goal for Legia Warsaw would mean they have to score at least twice to qualify. Home form in Europe has produced just one defeat (by PSV) in the last 23 games and that includes the group stages last season.

Legia Warsaw are eighth in the Polish Ekstraklasa with seven points from their four games. They are undefeated in their last eight league and cup games with four of those matches ending in draws. Legia have also played seven qualifying games in the Europa League this season and are also unbeaten. Four out of seven have been drawn, all of them 0-0 and Legia are yet to concede a goal in the Europa League this season, Imagine them drawing this game 0-0 and losing on penalties. Eight games, no goals conceded and still knocked out!  That might just happen and the tip here is for under 2.5 goals in the game.
