After three years away from the Europa League, Greek champions PAOK are having it tough on their return. They are set to face Czech side Viktoria Plzen on Match Day 3 of this competition. Read on for our prediction of Asprόmavri’s home match against Viktorka.

PAOK come into this game having had a bit of stability in their recent matches. They’ve collected four points from their past two league outings.

In the earlier three matches they had suffered straight defeats. Among those were losses to Galatasaray and Steaua Bucharest in the opening two Europa League games.

Viktoria Plzen are on a solid run in the season and will arrive for this game very confident. They have so far played 17 matches and only lost once.

However, in the Europa League, they are still searching for a first win in the league phase. On the opening day, they twice battled from behind to draw 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt.

At home on Match Day 2 they could only play to a 0-0 draw with Ludogorets. In the two matches coming after that, Plzen posted consecutive wins, more recently beating Banik Ostrava 3-1.
