It was thought that Group G would be totally dominated by Spain and Italy. They do fill the top two places in this group but only one point separates the top four with Albania and Israel putting pressure on the two favourites. That means Italy can't afford any slip-ups in this match which is their third away game in the first four fixtures. Their only home game to date was a 1-1 draw with Spain, away from home they have beaten Israel and Macedonia. Three points shouldn't be a problem though against a side that have lost all three games they have played in this group.and have gone 13 games without a win since a victory over mighty San Marino last year. They were thrashed 8-0 away at Spain earlier in this group, then lost to Albania 2-0 and Israel 2-1, actually winning the last 74 minutes of that game 1-0. Italy will win this game but it won't be an 8-0 massacre, go for them to win on a -2 handicap.
