Both Burkina Faso and Zimbabwe lost their opening game in Group A. If wanting to qualify for the quarter finals, they need to finish in the top two of this group, so a win here would be of massive help. Burkina Faso were heading for a draw in their opening game but a 70th minute goal by Mali doomed them to defeat. Their squad has been hit by the rules for this competition. Most notable absences are those of Bertrand and Lassina Traore as they play in England and the Netherlands respectively. . A goal would be handy though as they have failed to score in their last two internationals. To qualify for these championships, they beat Ghana over two legs. A 94th minute goal by Pognono in the away first leg was the only one in the tie. This is their third time in this championship but they are yet to get out of the group stages.

Zimbabwe also lost their opening game to the only goal of the match. A goal 18 minutes from time was the decisive one but at least they qualified this time after missing out in 2018. Their record in this competiton isnt too bad with a fourth place finish in 2014. They are missing several key players, particularly Knowledge Musona who has scored 23 goals for them but plays in Belgium. Zimbabwe have only won one of their last seven internationals, four of which have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. Only five goals have been scored in the last seven, at least four came from players who are in these championships. A bet on under 2.5 goals is the tip for what should be a closely fought match.
