Abdullah Shelbayh vs Flavio Cobolli Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Grand Prix Hassan II

Eighth seed Flavio Cobolli takes on wild card Abedallah Shelbayh in round one of the Grand Prix Hassan II. The winner will face either unseeded Pavel Kotov or wild card Elliott Benchetnt in round two of this outdoor clay court tournament. Cobolli is 63rd in the live rankings which is way ahead of his opponent. The Italian is only one place below his career high ranking. He's playing his first clay court event of the year but hasn't had too bad a year so far. He won five matches to reach the Australian Open last 32 and made it to the quarter finals in both Montpellier and Delray Beach. On clay, he's won titles on the World Tennis and Challenger Tours. Last year saw him get to the quarter finals in Munich 

Abdellah Shelbayh is ranked down at 230th in the rankings but has entered the main draw of this ATP 250 tournament thanks to a wild card. The Jordanian was ranked a career high 181st in February of this year. He's yet to win an ATP Tour main draw match this year in the three tournaments he's played. Two first round matches have been lost (after wild cards given) and he failed to get through the qualifying rounds of the Australian Open. He's played two clay court events this year. Both were on the Challenger Tour and he did qualify for the first round in Girona in his most recent tournament. He then lost in round one to Nicolas Moreno De Alboran. Last year saw him reach the last 16 of the  ATP Tour clay court tournament held in Banja Luka. He's not in great form though and we tip Cobolli to win this match.
