by Ian John in League One Predictions
League One leaders Wycombe Wanderers face a tough home game against Reading this weekend as they seek to retain their place at the summit. The Chairboys have been in incredible form, unbeaten in their last 15 League One games, winning 12 whereas the Royals are unbeaten in four, winning two. What will our prediction be for this crucial match at the top of the table?
After losing their opening two games of the season, Matt Bloomfield has steered Wycombe on a 15-game unbeaten run that has taken them top of League One. They have won twelve of those games, drawing just three.
They have won all their last six at home, including a 1-0 win over Mansfield earlier this month and in their most recent league game, they drew 2-2 away to Exeter on Tuesday. They won 2-0 at Wealdstone in the FA Cup last weekend to reach the Third Round.
Reading also moved on into the Third Round of the FA Cup last weekend with a 5-3 win over Harborough Town. They also landed an impressive win in midweek, a 3-0 win over Cambridge, which came on the back of a 2-2 draw at Barnsley in the previous midweek.
Unbeaten in four, Reading now lie sixth in the table.

Our Wycombe Wanderers vs Reading Prediction
Our prediction for the Wycombe Wanderers vs. Reading League One match is: Wycombe Wanderers to win.
The Royals are on a good run of form heading into this game, but their away record is relatively poor. Wycombe's home record is exceptional and they are in outstanding form and unbeaten in 15 league games. At Adams Park, it is hard to imagine the League One leaders not taking the victory even against a high calibre opponent. It may be close but the data suggests a Wycombe win.
