Wolverhampton Wanderers will be aiming at a second straight win when they host Nottingham Forest in their next league game. After 15 matches, Wolverhampton Wanderers are 13th, three places ahead of Nottingham Forest. A 1-0 win over Burnley on Tuesday moved Wolves to 18 points and a place in the top half is well within sight. Wolves’ win was their second in six matches and a break from two straight defeats. It was however their first clean sheet in 13 matches and they’ll look to build on it. While they look to improve defensively, Wolves carry into this game a good run in attack. They’ve scored in each of their last 16 matches. The only time Wolves failed to score this season was in their 1-0 loss to Manchester United on Match Week 1. In 12 of their last 13 matches, both teams scored and eight of their last 10 ended with over 2.5 goals.

Nottingham Forest come into this game on the back of a heavy 5-0 beating at the hands of Fulham. A fourth straight defeat leaves Forest just six points above the relegation zone. It doesn’t help their situation as they have played a game more than 18th placed Everton. This latest result marks the third time in four matches that they conceded three or more goals. In their next game, Forest will be desperate to rediscover their scoring touch. They’ve failed to score in the last two matches, having scored six times in the earlier three games. Nottingham will also be concerned by their run of form away from home. They haven't won an away league game since beating Chelsea at the start of September, losing four of five. Five of their eight away matches in the league this season have had over 2.5 goals.
