Early-season table-toppers SK Brann host Rosenborg in a key Eliteserien match in Norway this weekend. The Pride of Bergen have begun the season well with the Brann Stadion being a fortress. However, the Troillongen have also started strongly, especially away from home where they have a 100% record. Check out our match prediction for this top-three early-season clash!

Freyr Alexandersson will be delighted with how his team is performing after six games of the season. Brann currently top the table and have won all their last five matches, winning all of their home games taking 15 points from the 18 available. Rosenborg have played the same number of games and are unbeaten, winning four and drawing two to lie on 14 points to occupy third-place in the current Eliteserien table.

Brann’s recent form has been excellent, winning all their last five games. Most recently they defeated Bryne 3-2 in their last home match before travelling to Valerenga last weekend where they came away with an impressive 4-2 victory.

Almost as impressively, Rosenborg have yet to be beaten this season. They did draw two successive games at home, 0-0 with Molde and then 1-1 with Kristiansund, but they got back to winning ways last weekend with a 3-0 home victory over Bryne.
