Saracens and Bristol Bears meet in a tricky Premiership Rugby Round 3 fixture on Saturday at StoneX Stadium. Bristol Bears are outsiders here given their poor record against Sarries. However, their promising start to the league season has us favouring them in our prediction over an inconsistent Saracens side.
Saracens got off to a promising start to the league season with a two-point victory at Leicester in the opening round before suffering a shock 21–17 home defeat to Sale Sharks in Round 2.
Last week's setback means the Sarries have lost four of their last eight home fixtures across all competitions since last season. Although they have dominated this fixture, winning the last 10 meetings between the two sides, they have lost four of their last eight home games in Premiership Rugby.
Bristol Bears defeated Sale Sharks by 10 points in their Premiership Rugby opener. Last week, the Bears continued their winning ways by seeing off defending champions Northampton Saints 41–26 in their second fixture.
Overall, Pat Lam’s side have won three of their four competitive matches this season and are likely to push the hosts all the way in Saturday's clash.
