It's been a disappointing start to the season for Crystal Palace. The Eagles find themselves 15th in the Premier League after the first five games of the new season. Sunday sees them host 13th-placed Nottingham Forest. Neither side has a great defence and our prediction is BTTS.
Both of these clubs have only recorded one league victory this season. Palace only have four points from five league fixtures and their only win has come on their travels. They come into this match looking to earn their first home league points of the season, can they finally get off the mark against Forest?
This is a return to Selhurst Park for Forest coach and former boss of Palace, Oliver Glasner. He is likely to receive a good reception after what he did for the Eagles. The Tricky Trees are only a point above their opponents, but they have shown some better form than Palace this season. They totally lack consistency though and were beaten at home in their last game. Two home league games for Crystal Palace have had similar results. They each ended in defeat for the Eagles with both teams getting on the scoresheet. First came a 4-1 home loss to Manchester City which was expected. More disappointing was the 3-2 home defeat by newly-promoted Ipswich Town.

That was their third successive home defeat in the Premier League. They have gone five home league games since their last victory over Newcastle. Their only home wins this season have come in the Europa League and Carabao Cup. Just one league victory has been recorded this season, a 3-2 win at Fulham.

Nottingham Forest have also only won one league match this term. That came with a last-gasp winner as they beat struggling Aston Villa 2-1. Their other away league fixture this season saw them pegged back to a 2-2 draw by Liverpool. Both teams have scored in three of their last four away league games.
Like their opponents, they have also been struggling at home with losses to Leeds and Coventry, while drawing with Tottenham.

Crystal Palace have several injury worries ahead of this home game against Nottingham Forest. Jean-Philippe Mateta was so important for the Eagles last season, but he's still unable to play due to injury. Also absent are Dean Henderson and Chadi Riad Dnanou.
It's not just injuries that are causing them problems, with Axel Disasi suspended for this fixture. There are also doubts over the fitness of Takehiro Tomiyasu and Anan Khalali. The situation re injuries and suspensions is the last thing that Palace needs when they are struggling for points and have a heavy fixture list due to their European commitments.

Nottingham Forest will want to continue their impressive away form that has so far produced four points from fixtures at Liverpool and Aston Villa. The long gap between fixtures may have given defender Nikola Milenkovic the chance to regain full fitness. He was influential last season not just with his defending but creating assists.
They should be able to cause some problems for the Palace defence as Igor Jesus, Liam Delap, Morgan Gibbs-White and Dan Ndoye are all available this weekend.
