Clermont host Bordeaux Begles in Round 6 of the 2026-27 Top 14 season at Stade Marcel-Michelin on Friday. The Yellow Guys have won both of their home matches in the French top flight by double-digit margins, while Bordeaux Begles have lost their two away fixtures by at least 13 points, hence our prediction.

Clermont have alternated between wins and losses across their five Top 14 matches this season (W2, L3). After easing past Castres Olympique by 14 points at home in Round 4, they suffered a setback last week, losing 38–13 away to Stade Rochelais. 

However, the Yellow Guys’ strong record at home is worth noting. They have won both of their Top 14 home matches this season by double digits, taking their tally to four wins in five fixtures at Stade Marcel-Michelin. 

Bordeaux Begles are also navigating a see-saw run of form in their five Top 14 matches, winning three and losing two. That includes an impressive 51–28 victory over visiting Lyon last week. 

However, Les Girondins head into this clash having lost both of their away league matches this season by double-digit margins. They have also lost both of their recent trips to Stade Marcel-Michelin to face Clermont.
