Hibs host Rangers in the Scottish Cup Quarter Finals this weekend, hoping that they can spring another big upset on the Premiership League leaders after they were unexpectedly beaten by Motherwell at Ibrox last weekend. Nick Montgomery's team will be well aware of the task facing them having failed to score in their two league games with Rangers, shipping seven goals in the process. That said, the Hibees are unbeaten in their last four and landed a 2-0 win over Ross County last weekend. They are now 5th in the Premiership table, above Dundee, but are still seven points adrift of Kilmarnock one spot above them. 

Rangers surprise defeat to Motherwell last week was not as devastating as it could have been with Celtic also losing to Hearts. A rare double defeat for the Old Firm in domestic football for sure. Philippe Leonard has shaped this team into a tough outfit as they proved when earning a 2-2 draw away to a talented Benfica team in midweek, on the back of that shock home loss last weekend. Rangers fans will not expect anything less than a strong performance on the road here against a team that they have dominated against in their last two games between them this season. With 79% of their away games ending in victory this season, few would bet against the powerful Rangers earning a spot in the Scottish Cup semi finals here.
