Exeter Chiefs' terrific recent run came full circle last week as they challenged the odds to edge Saracens away in a 54-point thriller. The Chiefs won both halves to silence the home crowd with a shock 30–24 away victory. 

That result marked their fifth Premiership Rugby win in seven games this season (D1, L1). They are also unbeaten in their last five games, winning four and have maintained a perfect run in their five home games this season across all competitions. 

Leicester Tigers put aside their back-to-back Challenge Cup defeats to smash Gloucester in the Premiership Rugby last week. They won both halves by double digits – including a 19–0 first-half shutdown – to glide past the visitors with a 45–14 victory. 

The Tigers have won five of their seven league games this season. However, they face a stern test in Saturday's clash, having lost two of their three away Premiership Rugby games this season.
