Runaway league leaders Birmingham play host to 12th-placed Stevenage for this rescheduled matchday 16 fixture in England’s League One. Will the Blues keep their title charge rolling along or will the Boro prove to be a speed bump? Check out our prediction and analysis of the match!
Birmingham bounced back from only their third defeat of the league season in matchday 35 with a 1-0 home win over Lincoln on Saturday. It was their third win from the last four outings and extended their lead over second-place Wycombe Wanderers to 11 points.
Birmingham have lost only twice all season at St. Andrew’s across all competitions, both of which were against Premier League opposition.
In League One, they’ve been utterly dominant on their home patch and are still unbeaten with a 15-3-0 record.
As for the visitors, they find themselves with an uphill task if they are to deal Birmingham their first home league defeat. Stevenage find themselves a hefty 12 points behind the promotion playoff positions with only 11 games left on their fixture list.
Their last appearance at the weekend saw Stevenage concede in the final 10 minutes and have to settle for a 1-1 home draw with Mansfield. They’re on a pretty good recent run with two wins, a draw and a defeat in their last four.

Our Birmingham vs Stevenage Prediction
Birmingham have been locking teams down all season at St. Andrew’s, while Stevenage trend heavily towards the under when they play on the road. We’re expecting this one to be relatively low-scoring with the hosts likely able to keep their opponents off the score sheet.
Stevenage have failed to put the ball in the net in half of their away league matches. Despite this, the Boro have a solid defensive record as the visiting side and should be able to limit the damage to just a goal or two. Our Birmingham vs Stevenage prediction: under 2.5.All tips are fully researched and given in good faith, but profits cannot be guaranteed.
