Wales vs Scotland Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations

This is the first of the three Six Nations games being played on Saturday. It's also the least important as far as who will win the title. Neither can win the title, even if none of the top three win on Saturday. Scotland begin the final set of fixtures in fourth place, one ahead of Wales and three points clear of them. It's been a disappointing campaign for Wales with just one win and three losses leaving them fifth in the table. A win in this game will take them above Scotland into fourth.. As you might have guessed, their only victory has been a 42-0 home win over Italy. All their other games have been lost since then but it was close when being beaten by just three points at Twickenham. Even so, it's a bit of a comedown from winning the Grand Slam last year. Last week saw them lose to France and head coach Warren Gaitland would have wanted a better last season in charge of his team. This is their worst run of form since 2016 and they need a win to boost confidence for upcoming tournaments.

Fourth placed Scotland could finish as high as second if France and England were both to lose later on Saturday. The latter of those options looks very unlikely, the former is possible though. The Scottish side has won two and lost two in this campaign. Their games have only seen 112 points scored, the lowest aggregate total for any of the six nations. They haven't won away against Wales in 18 years but have several key players back for this match. Last week, they beat Georgia and will give this everything they have.
