Alexandre Muller has already beaten one seed in the Shanghai Masters. The unseeded player faces tenth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third round of this hard court Masters event. Here's our match prediction.
Muller has not been in good form of late. His last tournament saw him beaten in the first qualifying round of the Japan Open, his third successive defeat. Another looked possible in round one here as he went a set down to Luca Nardi in round one.
The French player fought back well though to win the next two sets for the loss of only a couple of games. That good form continued in round two as he beat 18th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. He's up to a career-high 68th in the live rankings.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is up to 11th in the live rankings after he beat Kei Nishikori in his first match in this tournament. He beat the wild card in straight sets but needed a tie-break to win the opening one.
