Seventh seed Sebastian Korda faces unseeded Luca Nardi in round two of the Libema Open in Hertogenbosch. The winner will be taking on either second seed Tommy Paul or unseeded Alexei Popyrin in the quarter-finals. World number 26 Sebastian Korda is only three places below the career-high he attained last year. He's up to 24th in the live rankings and beating Nardi will see him equal his career-high ranking. The American beat qualifier Tristan Schoolkate in straight sets to move into this second round. Korda is 37th in the ATP Live Race and has a best this year of getting to the last four in Brisbane way back in January. On grass, Korda got to the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2022 but was beaten in round one last year. He'll look to repeat the form that saw him reach the last four at Queen's Club in 2023 where he beat both Cameron Norrie and Frances Tiafoe.

Luca Nardi is 73rd in the ranking list published on Monday. The Italian has moved up to a new career-high of 68th after his first round straight sets win over wild card David Goffin. Nardi had lost his last three matches before beating Goffin. Highlights for him this year include beating Novak Djokovic at Indian Wells and winning a clay court Challenger Tour event. He's never played in the main draw at Wimbledon and lost in the second qualifying round last year. That's the only other grass court tournament that he's played. We tip the far more experienced Korda to win this in straight sets.
