Scotland vs Italy Prediction & Betting Tips - Six Nations

It’s been an absorbing Six Nations competition to date, and we still have one more round of action to look forward to heading into Super Saturday, starting with Scotland and Italy, who will kick off the final round at Murrayfield. The Scot's hope of competing for the Grand Slam was dashed last weekend when the mighty Irish visited Edinburgh and took them apart 22-7. Not only did they lose that match, but they also picked up a few notable injuries, with Finn Russell and Stouart Hogg set to miss the final match of the competition, while Richie Gray will have to undergo a late fitness test before he is cleared to play. Scotland has little left to play for in the competition now, though they will want to end the tournament on a strong note and try to secure a second-place finish.  

Despite making a positive impression and showing major improvement in this year's Six Nations tournament, Italy’s loss against Wales in their last match would have been a bitter pill to swallow as they would have seen that match as their best chance of registering in a win in this year's competition. Italy have just one point in this tournament which came in their opening match, and while they looked very good against England and Ireland, were unable to build on their positive start. It looks like another last-place finish for the Italians, but they will be hoping that a depleted Scotland side may afford them a few opportunities to register a decent result in this one.
