Mirassol will meet Gremio as the Brazilian Serie A returns following the summer break. Both sides lost their last league outings in May, leaving Mirassol 19th and Gremio 16th. Mirassol haven’t tasted defeat in three matches against Gremio, and that gives them the edge in this prediction.
Last year Mirassol thrashed Gremio 4-1 at home and went on to complete a league double with a 1-0 away win. They had earlier won a cup game against Gremio, and this run will give them confidence going forward.
