Lens vs Nice Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Lens and Nice will renew their rivalry this Saturday when they face off in Ligue 1. Both are looking to hit double figures in their points column and will see this as a good chance. Read on for our prediction of the match as Les Sang et Or host Les Aiglons at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis. 

After a fine start to the season, matters have gone slower at Lens in recent weeks. They are coming from a four-match winless run, which started with their elimination from the Conference League. 

William Still’s side won three straight matches to open the 2024/25 campaign. That run, however, is now a distant memory but there have been a few signs of improvement. 

The 1-1 away draw with Rennes in the last game represented a lucky break as M’Bala Nzola scored a stoppage time equalizer. 

Like Lens, Nice are also having a shaky season, coming here with two wins only in their first six matches. Those wins were registered against recently promoted sides, Angers and Saint-Etienne – occupants of the two lowest positions. 

Their win against Saint-Etienne is what left tongues wagging as they thrashed their visitors 8-0. Their bid to carry the same form to Europe failed as they could only manage a 1-1 draw with real Sociedad in the Europa League. 

Coming back to domestic action, Nice will seek inspiration from their good form against Lens. In the last three meetings with their hosts, Nice emerged winners, and are unbeaten in four with three clean sheets.
