Suzuki Griquas host Hollywoodbets Sharks in this 2026 Currie Cup Round 5 fixture on Friday. After four rounds, Suzuki Griquas have made a strong statement of intent to retain the Currie Cup title. The defending champions eased past Fidelity ADT Lions with a 31–19 bonus-point victory in a rematch of last year's final on Saturday, thanks to early tries by Gurshwin Wehr and Dylan Maart.

Mike Vowles’ side have lost five of their last six Currie Cup away matches dating back to last season, including defeats in their most recent two. They have also suffered defeat in each of their last three trips to face Griquas.
